We've had a busy couple of months and couldn't have done it without all of our 4-H'ers, families, volunteers, and sponsors!  Thank you all for your help throughout the Marion County Fair and Lazy Days Swine Classic!  We have put together a slide show of pictures from the Swine Classic, but need your help to create a slide show for the County Fair!  Please send us pictures you took while preparing for or participating in this year's fair!




Job well done to all who participated at the State Fair!  Please stop by our office to pick up your exhibits/ribbons! 


  Kansas 4-H Award Portfolios (KAPs) & Pin Applications

Both are due to the Extension Office by 5:00 PM on Monday, October 1!  BUT, your Club Leaders will need these even sooner!  Ask them what your Club's deadline is!  All forms can be found at: http://www.marion.k-state.edu/4-h/forms/index.html


 48 Hours of 4-H

Sunday, October 14 starting at 2:00 PM, we will begin painting the arena at the fairgrounds.  This is a big project - we will need all of your help!  Wear some old clothes and plan to work until 5:00 PM.  We will then roast hot dogs and enjoy a potluck meal.  4-H Council will provide hot dogs, drinks, and paperware.  Please bring your family and a side dish.  RSVP by October 12.

4-H Family Fun with Officer Training

This is a multi-county 4-H Event including sessions for officers, 4-H'ers, young siblings, 4-H Parents, and 4-H Leaders.  

October 27 from 8:00-11:30 AM at the Sedgwick Co Extension Office.

2018 Achievement Banquet

Sunday, November 4 at 6:00 PM at the Marion Community Building

Come and help us celebrate the many achievements of our 4-H Youth and Leaders!  (More info to come)
